University of Taipei and KKU sign MOU to promote academic exchange and research activities
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between University of Taipei and Khon Kaen University to promote the joint academic and research activities.
The ceremony of MOU signing took place at the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University on December 2, 2014. Professor Dr. Chia-Hua Kuo, Dean for Research and Development, Associate Professor Dr. Yuh-Feng Liou, Associate Professor Dr. Shiow-Chwen Tsai, Assistant Professor Dr. Chien-Wen Hou, Assistant Professor Dr. Yung-Shen Tsai, Assistant Professor Dr. Chung-Yu Chen, and Associate Professor Dr. Te-Chih Liu frpm University of Taipei and Associate Professor Maj. Rungchai Chaunchaiyakul from Mahidol University traveled to the Faculty of Medicine and joined the ceremony.
Associate Professor Thawalwong Ratanasiri, Vice President for International Relations and Cooperation Strategy preside over the ceremony and was the representative of Khon Kaen University to sign the MOU. Associate Professor Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Associate Professor Supat Sinawat, Associate Dean for International Relations and Cooperation Strategies, Professor Pewpan Maleewong, Associate Dean for Research Affairs, Dr. Daris Theerakulpisut, Assistant Dean for International Relations, Associate Professor Naruemon Leelayuwat, Department of Physiology, Associate Professor Wannapa Ishida, Department of Physiology, Assistant Professor Orathai Tunkamnerdthai Department of Physiology, Associate Professor Wichai Eungpinichpong, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences and Dr. Kurusart Konharn, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences were witness.

University of Taipei and Khon Kaen University have enjoyed a long standing friendship with each other. I would like to thank Professor Dr. Chia-Hua Kuo, Dean for Research and Development, University of Taipei, Associate Professor Naruemon Leelayuwat, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University and their many colleagues. Their insights, goodwill and friendship have made the signing of this MOU a reality”, Associate Professor Thawalwong Ratanasiri said.
Under this MOU, University of Taipei and Khon Kaen University will work together to in several areas such as the promotion of academic visits, seminars and academic meetings; the promotion of joint teaching programs; the promotion of joint research opportunities; and the promotion of exchange of academic staff and student.
