The Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, proudly congratulates Assistant Professor Kunanya Suwannaying, Department of Pediatrics, on her appointment as a member of the Survivorship Committee of the Asian Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Group (APHOG).
Her appointment took effect during the SIOP Asia 2026 Congress, held from 25–28 June 2026 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. As a member of the Survivorship Committee, Assistant Professor Kunanya will contribute to advancing survivorship care for children, adolescents, and young adults affected by cancer. The committee focuses on promoting long-term follow-up care, addressing late effects of cancer treatment, supporting research in cancer survivorship, and improving the quality of life of childhood cancer survivors throughout Asia.
Founded in 2012 and officially launched in 2021, the Asian Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Group (APHOG) is a regional collaborative network dedicated to pediatric hematology and oncology research and clinical care across Asia. The organization promotes multicenter research, develops treatment protocols, strengthens patient registries, and fosters international collaboration to improve outcomes and standards of care for children with cancer.
This appointment marks another significant achievement for the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, reflecting the University’s growing contribution to the international pediatric oncology community and its commitment to advancing collaborative research and survivorship care for children with cancer in Asia.

ผ.ศ.คุณัญญา สุวรรณยิ่ง ได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็นคณะกรรมการด้านการดูแลผู้รอดชีวิตจากโรคมะเร็งแห่ง APHOG
คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ขอแสดงความยินดีอย่างยิ่งแก่ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์คุณัญญา สุวรรณยิ่ง อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชากุมารเวชศาสตร์ ในโอกาสได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็น คณะกรรมการด้านการดูแลผู้รอดชีวิตจากโรคมะเร็ง (Survivorship Committee) แห่ง Asian Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Group (APHOG) ซึ่งเป็นเครือข่ายความร่วมมือด้านโลหิตวิทยาและมะเร็งวิทยาในเด็กระดับภูมิภาคเอเชีย
การแต่งตั้งดังกล่าวมีผลตั้งแต่การประชุม SIOP Asia 2026 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 25 – 28 มิถุนายน 2569 ณ กรุงอูลานบาตอร์ ประเทศมองโกเลีย โดยผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์คุณัญญาจะร่วมปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในคณะกรรมการที่มุ่งส่งเสริมการดูแลผู้รอดชีวิตจากโรคมะเร็งในเด็กและวัยรุ่น ครอบคลุมการติดตามผลระยะยาว การป้องกันและจัดการผลกระทบจากการรักษา ตลอดจนการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยหลังสิ้นสุดการรักษา
Asian Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Group (APHOG) เป็นเครือข่ายความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาวิจัยทางคลินิกด้านโลหิตวิทยาและมะเร็งวิทยาในเด็กของประเทศต่าง ๆ ในภูมิภาคเอเชีย ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2555 และเปิดตัวอย่างเป็นทางการในปี พ.ศ. 2564 โดยมีพันธกิจในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัย การพัฒนาแนวทางการรักษา การจัดทำฐานข้อมูลผู้ป่วย และการยกระดับมาตรฐานการดูแลรักษาเด็กที่ป่วยเป็นโรคมะเร็ง ผ่านการทำงานร่วมกับเครือข่ายวิชาการและองค์กรด้านโรคมะเร็งระดับนานาชาติ
การได้รับแต่งตั้งในครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งความภาคภูมิใจของคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น และสะท้อนถึงศักยภาพของบุคลากรในการมีบทบาทสำคัญบนเวทีวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ ตลอดจนการมีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้และเครือข่ายความร่วมมือด้านการดูแลผู้ป่วยเด็กโรคมะเร็ง เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพการรักษาและคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยในระดับภูมิภาคและระดับโลก
