On November 27, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, through the Department of Tropical Medicine, hosted the Asian Neglected Tropical Disease Conference (NTDASIA) 2025 under the theme “Translating Systems Thinking into Real-World Impact for SDG 2030.” The conference was held at Pullman Hotel, Khon Kaen Province, and was officially opened by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President, Khon Kaen University. The event aims to drive the application of systems thinking to practical solutions for addressing neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) and enhancing health security across the Asia region.

 

 

A key highlight of the event was the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University (MDKKU) and the National Institute of Parasitic Disease (NIPD), Shanghai, People’s Republic of China. This collaboration seeks to advance research, disease surveillance, and sustainable public health capacity-building—marking a significant milestone in strengthening bilateral cooperation in tropical medicine within the region.

The MOU signing reflects a shared commitment to improving responses to tropical diseases and addressing critical health challenges that impact the well-being of populations across Asia.

The NTDASIA 2025 Conference, held from 27–28 November 2025, continued with academic sessions attended by policymakers, researchers, and international partner networks, working together to define concrete directions and actionable strategies for effectively advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.

คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น จัดประชุม NTDASIA 2025 เสริมความร่วมมือภูมิภาคด้านเวชศาสตร์เขตร้อน

เมื่อวันที่ 27 พฤศจิกายน 2568 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น โดยสาขาวิชาเวชศาสตร์เขตร้อน เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุม The Asian Neglected Tropical Disease Conference (NTDASIA) 2025 ภายใต้หัวข้อหลัก “Translating Systems Thinking into Real-World Impact for SDG 2030” ณ โรงแรมพูลแมน จังหวัดขอนแก่นโดยมี รองศาสตราจารย์ชาญชัย พานทองวิริยะกุล อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด โดยการประชุมมีเป้าหมายเพื่อมุ่งผลักดันการประยุกต์แนวคิดเชิงระบบสู่การแก้ปัญหาโรคเขตร้อนที่ถูกละเลย (NTDs) และการพัฒนาความมั่นคงด้านสุขภาพของภูมิภาคเอเชีย

หนึ่งในกิจกรรมสำคัญของงานคือ พิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) ระหว่างคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น (MDKKU) และ National Institute of Parasitic Disease (NIPD) นครเซี่ยงไฮ้ สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน เพื่อร่วมกันขับเคลื่อนงานวิจัย การเฝ้าระวังโรค และการเสริมสร้างศักยภาพด้านสาธารณสุขอย่างยั่งยืน อันนับเป็นก้าวสำคัญของความร่วมมือทวิภาคีด้านเวชศาสตร์เขตร้อนในระดับภูมิภาค

コンケン大学医学部、NTDASIA 2025 を開催熱帯医学分野の地域連携強化を推進

2025年11月27日、コンケン大学医学部熱帯医学講座は、「Translating Systems Thinking into Real-World Impact for SDG 2030」をテーマとしたアジア顧みられない熱帯病会議（NTDASIA 2025）を、タイ・コンケン県のプルマン・コンケン・ホテルにて開催しました。開会式では、コンケン大学のチャーンチャイ・パンソンウィリヤクン学長が挨拶を行い、システム思考を実践的な対策へとつなげることで、アジア地域における顧みられない熱帯病（NTDs）対策およびヘルスセキュリティの強化を図る本会議の目的が強調されました。

本イベントのハイライトの一つとして、コンケン大学医学部（MDKKU）と中華人民共和国・上海の国家寄生虫病研究所（NIPD）との間で、覚書（MOU）署名式が執り行われました。今回の協力は、研究の発展、疾病サーベイランスの強化、そして持続可能な公衆衛生能力の構築を目的としており、地域における熱帯医学分野の二国間協力を大きく前進させる重要な一歩となりました。

開会式には、以下の来賓がご臨席されました。

• タイ保健省 ソポン・イアムシリタウォン博士（次官補）
• コンケン大学医学部 パッタラポン・マカラワテ准教授（医学部長）

孔敬大学医学院举办 NTDASIA 2025 

推动系统思维应用与区域热带病防控合作

泰国孔敬府，2025年11月27日——孔敬大学医学院热带医学系于 2025 年 11 月 27 日在 Pullman Khon Kaen酒店举办 亚洲被忽视热带病会议（NTDASIA 2025）。会议以 “将系统思维转化为实现 2030 可持续发展目标的实际影响” 为主题，由孔敬大学校长 查猜·潘通威里亚谷副教授 主持开幕。

本次会议旨在推动系统思维在被忽视热带病（NTDs）防治中的应用，强化区域公共卫生体系建设，并推进亚洲各国在科研、政策与健康安全方面的协作。

会议期间，孔敬大学医学院（MDKKU）与中国上海 国家寄生虫病研究所（NIPD） 举行 合作备忘录（MOU） 签署仪式。该备忘录将促进双方在科研合作、疾病监测、能力建设等领域的长期合作，进一步提升区域热带病研究与防控水平。

出席开幕式的贵宾包括：

• 索蓬·伊阿姆西里塔旺博士，泰国公共卫生部常务次长
• 帕塔拉蓬·玛卡拉瓦特副教授，孔敬大学医学院院长
• 钱门宝教授，中国上海国家寄生虫病研究所

NTDASIA 2025 于 11 月 27–28 日举行，多场专题会议由政策制定者、科研人员及国际合作机构参加。会议就推进可持续发展目标相关议题展开深入交流，并制定行动导向的策略，为区域公共卫生事业提供重要参考。

孔敬大学医学院将继续推动国际合作，加强研究与教育资源整合，为区域乃至全球的热带病控制与公共卫生发展贡献力量。

On 13 November 2025, the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, welcomed Professor Hideki Murakami, MD, PhD, from the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Nagoya City University, for academic discussions and the handover ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two institutions.

Professor Murakami is visiting the Faculty as a Visiting Professor at the Department of Orthopedics from 12–15 November 2025, with the aim of fostering proactive collaboration in medical education and clinical development.

 

 

During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Pattarapong Makarawate, MD, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, delivered welcoming remarks and presented the MOU to Professor Murakami, affirming the Faculty’s commitment to strengthening the partnership and driving forward impactful collaboration.

Also participating were Assoc. Prof. Thuss Sanguansak, MD, Vice Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication, Assoc. Prof.Taweechok Wisanuyotin, MD, Head of the Department of Orthopedics, together with faculty members from the Department. The meeting highlighted potential areas for collaboration, including:

• Student and staff exchanges
• Joint medical research and innovation
• Co-development of curricula and academic activities
• Short-term training and observational programs

Professor Murakami’s visit marks an important step in advancing international academic cooperation and enhancing medical education and research between the two institutions.

วันที่ 13 พฤศจิกายน 2568 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ให้การต้อนรับ Professor Hideki Murakami, MD, PhD จาก Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Nagoya City University ในโอกาสเข้าหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ และร่วมพิธีส่งมอบ บันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) ระหว่างทั้งสองสถาบัน

Professor Murakami เดินทางมาเยือนระหว่างวันที่ 12–15 พฤศจิกายน 2568 ในฐานะ Visiting Professor ณ สาขาออร์โธปิดิกส์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มข. เพื่อพัฒนาความร่วมมือด้านการแพทย์และการศึกษาเชิงรุก

ในพิธีส่งมอบบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ รองศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์ภัทรพงษ์ มกรเวส คณบดีคณะแพทยศาสตร์ ได้กล่าวต้อนรับและส่งมอบ MOU ให้แก่ Professor Murakami โดยย้ำถึงความมุ่งมั่นในการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างสองสถาบันให้ก้าวหน้าอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

コンケン大学医学部、Hideki Murakami 教授を歓迎 MOU 引き渡し式を実施

2025年11月13日、コンケン大学医学部は、名古屋市立大学大学院 医学研究科 整形外科学講座の Hideki Murakami 教授（MD, PhD） を迎え、両機関間の学術協力に関する意見交換を行うとともに、学術協力覚書（MOU）の引き渡し式を執り行いました。

Murakami 教授は、2025年11月12日から15日までの期間、同医学部整形外科の Visiting Professor として来訪しており、医学教育および臨床分野における積極的な協力体制の強化を目的としています。

式典では、コンケン大学医学部の Pattarapong Makarawate 医学博士（MD）・学部長 が歓迎の挨拶を述べ、Murakami 教授へ MOU を手交しました。また、同学部長は、両機関のパートナーシップをさらに強化し、実りある協力を推進していくという学部の強い決意を表明しました。

また、式典には、国際関係・広報担当副学部長である Thuss Sanguansak 副教授（MD）、整形外科学講座長の Taweechok Wisanuyotin 副教授（MD） をはじめ、同講座の教員らも出席しました。会議では、今後の協力の可能性として、以下の分野が取り上げられました。

• 学生および教職員の交流
• 医療分野における共同研究とイノベーションの推進
• カリキュラムおよび学術活動の共同開発
• 短期研修および視察プログラム

A new chapter in Sino-Thai medical cooperation is set to begin after Khon Kaen University’s (KKU) Faculty of Medicine hosted a high-level delegation from Wenzhou Medical University (WMU) on 17 July 2025. The visit, which included the formal presentation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) from the Chinese institution, laid the groundwork for a significant academic partnership.

The event’s importance was amplified as it coincided with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand.

In a significant development, the Chinese delegation announced plans to form a “Sino-Thai Bio-pharmaceutical Industry Alliance” and formally invited KKU to become a founding member, signaling a vision for a broad and profound collaboration.

 

 

The MOU ceremony was witnessed by senior diplomats, including Mrs. Ning Yang, Deputy Consul-General, and Ms. You Mei, Consul from the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Khon Kaen. In her address, the Deputy Consul-General congratulated both institutions on the milestone, stating that “educational cooperation as a cornerstone of our bilateral relations”. She affirmed that the partnership would elevate medical education and healthcare standards and that the Consulate-General would serve as a “bridge” to support future collaborations.

 

 

Associate Professor Pattarapong Makarawate, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at KKU, welcomed the delegation and remarked that the cooperation is a testament to a shared commitment to innovation and academic excellence. A representative from WMU noted that the university is ranked among the top ten independent medical universities in China, with 15 of its disciplines in the top 1% of ESI global rankings, and that the visit aims to establish long-term partnerships in faculty and student exchanges, research, and medical technology.

The WMU delegation consisted of three leading experts: Professor Lianpin Wu, Associate Dean of the Second School of Clinical Medicine and the Second Affiliated Hospital of WMU; Professor Liang Hu, Associate Dean of the School of Ophthalmology and Optometry and the Eye Hospital; and Professor Hui Deng, Associate Dean of the School and Hospital of Stomatology.

 

 

Over two days, the delegates conducted an intensive tour and exchanged knowledge at KKU’s Faculty of Dentistry, the Queen Sirikit Heart Center of the Northeast, and the Department of Ophthalmology at Srinagarind Hospital. They were hosted by a senior team from KKU’s Faculty of Medicine, including the Dean; Associate Professor Thuss Sanguansak, Vice Dean for International Relations; Professor Olan Suwan-apichon, Vice Dean for Human Resources; and Dr. Huang Zhenxiao, Deputy Director of Otolaryngology at Beijing Tongren Hospital.

The proposed Sino-Thai Bio-pharmaceutical Industry Alliance aims to create a healthcare innovation community, bringing together leading universities and enterprises from both nations to advance talent development and research.

This visit and the presentation of the MOU, set against the backdrop of a major diplomatic anniversary, establish a crucial foundation for a new era of medical and public health innovation, set to strengthen the enduring friendship between Thailand and China.

มิติใหม่แพทย์ไทย-จีน! มข.-ม.เวินโจว ผนึกความร่วมมือทางการแพทย์

ความสัมพันธ์ทางการแพทย์ระหว่างไทยและจีนเตรียมก้าวสู่มิติใหม่อย่างเป็นทางการ เมื่อคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น (มข.) จัดพิธีต้อนรับและรับมอบบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) จากคณะผู้แทนระดับสูงของมหาวิทยาลัยการแพทย์เวินโจว (Wenzhou Medical University: WMU) เมื่อวันที่ 17 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2568 โดยพิธีการดังกล่าวไม่เพียงเป็นการวางรากฐานความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ แต่ยังเกิดขึ้นในวาระครบรอบ 50 ปีแห่งการสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย-จีน ยิ่งไปกว่านั้น ฝ่ายจีนยังได้ประกาศแผนจัดตั้ง “พันธมิตรชีวเภสัชภัณฑ์ชิโน-ไทย” พร้อมเชิญ มข. เข้าร่วมเป็นพันธมิตร สะท้อนวิสัยทัศน์ความร่วมมือที่กว้างไกลและลึกซึ้ง

พิธีรับมอบ MOU ได้รับเกียรติจาก ฯพณฯ นางหนิง หยาง (Mrs. Ning Yang) รองกงสุลใหญ่ และ นางสาวโยว เหม่ย (Ms. You Mei) กงสุล สถานกงสุลใหญ่แห่งสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ประจำจังหวัดขอนแก่น เข้าร่วมเป็นสักขีพยาน โดยรองกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้กล่าวสุนทรพจน์แสดงความยินดีต่อหลักชัยความร่วมมือครั้งนี้ พร้อมย้ำว่า “ความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาถือเป็นรากฐานที่สำคัญของความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคี” และการจับมือกันระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยการแพทย์เวินโจว ซึ่งเป็นสถาบันชั้นนำของจีน กับมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ซึ่งเป็นสถาบันอันทรงเกียรติในภาคอีสาน จะช่วยยกระดับมาตรฐานการศึกษาทางการแพทย์และบริการด้านสุขภาพของทั้งสองประเทศ โดยสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ พร้อมทำหน้าที่เป็น “สะพานเชื่อม” สนับสนุนความร่วมมือให้ก้าวหน้าต่อไป

รองศาสตราจารย์ นพ.ภัทรพงษ์ มกรเวส คณบดีคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มข. กล่าวต้อนรับว่าความร่วมมือนี้คือบทพิสูจน์ถึงความมุ่งมั่นร่วมกันในการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมและความเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการ ขณะที่ผู้แทนจากมหาวิทยาลัยการแพทย์เวินโจวได้กล่าวแนะนำสถาบันว่า WMU เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่ติด 10 อันดับแรกของกลุ่มมหาวิทยาลัยการแพทย์ในจีน และมีถึง 15 สาขาวิชาที่ติดอันดับ Top 1% ของโลกโดย ESI การมาเยือนครั้งนี้จึงมุ่งหวังที่จะสร้างความร่วมมือระยะยาวกับ มข. ทั้งในด้านการแลกเปลี่ยนคณาจารย์และนักศึกษา, การวิจัย, และเทคโนโลยีทางการแพทย์

ไฮไลท์สำคัญที่ถูกเปิดเผยในครั้งนี้ คือโครงการจัดตั้ง “พันธมิตรชีวเภสัชภัณฑ์ชิโน-ไทย (Sino-Thai Bio-pharmaceutical Industry Alliance)” ซึ่ง WMU จะร่วมมือกับมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำของไทยและจีน เพื่อสร้างประชาคมนวัตกรรมสุขภาพ และขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาบุคลากร การวิจัย และการถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี

การมาเยือนและการรับมอบร่าง MOU ที่เกิดขึ้นในวาระครบรอบ 50 ปีความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตนี้ จึงเป็นการวางรากฐานที่สำคัญสำหรับพันธกิจที่ยิ่งใหญ่ ที่จะนำไปสู่การพัฒนานวัตกรรมทางการแพทย์และสาธารณสุข ยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชน และเขียนประวัติศาสตร์หน้าใหม่ของมิตรภาพและความร่วมมือไทย-จีนให้แข็งแกร่งและยั่งยืนสืบไป

 

 

On May 16, 2025, Khon Kaen University (KKU), led by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of KKU, along with a delegation of representatives, visited Mie University in Japan to officially renew the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic collaboration between the two institutions.

 

 

The renewed agreement aims to expand cooperation in the exchange of faculty, staff, and students, as well as to support joint academic activities, collaborative research, and the sharing of academic knowledge and publications. This milestone marks another important step in strengthening international academic and research partnerships.

Established in 1949, Mie University is one of Japan’s leading national universities. It comprises several faculties, including Humanities, Law and Economics; Education; Medicine; Engineering; and Bioresources. The university also operates Mie University Hospital, which serves as both a medical service provider and a training center for medical and nursing students.

In 1994, the School of Medicine at Mie University and the Faculty of Medicine at Khon Kaen University signed an Academic Exchange Agreement, marking the beginning of a long-standing partnership that has since expanded to include student and faculty exchanges, joint research initiatives, and official institutional visits. In addition, various other faculties at KKU, such as Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Nursing, have also developed academic ties with Mie University.

มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นต่ออายุความร่วมมือกับ Mie University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น เสริมสร้างเครือข่ายวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ

เมื่อวันที่ 16 พฤษภาคม 2568 มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น นำโดย รองศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์ชาญชัย พานทองวิริยะกุล อธิการบดี พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้แทน เดินทางเยือนมหาวิทยาลัยมิเอะ (Mie University) ประเทศญี่ปุ่น เพื่อร่วมพิธีลงนามต่ออายุ บันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ (MOU) ระหว่างสองมหาวิทยาลัยอย่างเป็นทางการ

การลงนามในครั้งนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อขยายความร่วมมือด้านการแลกเปลี่ยนอาจารย์ บุคลากร และนักศึกษา ตลอดจนการสนับสนุนกิจกรรมทางวิชาการ การวิจัยร่วม และการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และสิ่งพิมพ์ทางวิชาการ โดยถือเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือด้านวิชาการและวิจัยสู่ระดับนานาชาติ

Mie University ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1949 เป็นหนึ่งในมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งชาติที่มีชื่อเสียงของประเทศญี่ปุ่น มีคณะต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ คณะมนุษยศาสตร์ นิติศาสตร์และเศรษฐศาสตร์ คณะครุศาสตร์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ และคณะทรัพยากรชีวภาพ นอกจากนี้ยังมี Mie University Hospital ซึ่งเป็นโรงพยาบาลภายใต้การบริหารของมหาวิทยาลัย ที่ให้บริการทางการแพทย์แก่ประชาชน และเป็นศูนย์ฝึกอบรมสำหรับนักศึกษาแพทย์และพยาบาลของมหาวิทยาลัย

孔敬大学续签与日本三重大学的合作协议，推动国际学术网络建设

2025年5月16日，由孔敬大学校长、医学博士Charnchai Panthongviriyakul副教授率领的代表团，前往日本三重大学（Mie University），出席两校间学术合作谅解备忘录（MOU）续签仪式。

此次续签旨在进一步扩大双方在教师、职员与学生交流方面的合作，并推动学术活动支持、联合研究以及知识与学术出版物的交流。这是孔敬大学在建设国际学术与研究合作网络方面的又一重要举措。

三重大学（Mie University）成立于1949年，是日本著名的国立大学之一。该校设有多个学院，包括人文学院、法学与经济学学院、教育学院、医学部、工学部以及生物资源学院。此外，三重大学还设有三重大学附属医院（Mie University Hospital），由大学直接管理，不仅为公众提供医疗服务，也作为医学生和护理专业学生的实习培训基地。

早在1994年，三重大学医学院与孔敬大学医学院便签署了学术交流协议（Academic Exchange Agreement），由此开启了长期持续的合作关系，涵盖学生交流、教师与职员交流、联合科研以及高层代表团的正式互访等多项合作活动。此外，孔敬大学的多个学院也与三重大学建立了合作关系，包括工程学院、人文与社会科学学院以及护理学院

On May 14, 2025, Khon Kaen University (KKU), led by Associate Professor Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of the University, visited Fujita Health University (FHU) in Japan to participate in the signing ceremony for the renewal of their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This event marks another important milestone in the ongoing and sustainable academic collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in medicine and health sciences.

Fujita Health University, founded in 1964, is one of Japan’s leading private medical universities. It comprises three main schools: the School of Medicine, the School of Medical Sciences, and the School of Health Sciences. The university oversees four major affiliated hospitals located in Aichi and Mie prefectures, providing medical services and clinical education throughout the Chubu region of Japan.

Development of the Collaboration

2006: Initial academic collaboration between the two medical schools.

2007: Expansion to include the School of Health Sciences, with a focus on rehabilitation medicine.

2015: Signing of a university-level Memorandum of Understanding.

2022: Signing of an agreement to establish a Double Degree Ph.D. Program in Rehabilitation Medicine, aiming to develop high-level researchers and medical professionals with international competencies.

The renewed MOU focuses on enhancing collaboration in the following three key areas:

1. Exchange of students, academic staff, and administrative personnel.
2. Joint research in prioritized areas, such as rehabilitation medicine and medical technologies.

Fujita Health University เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยเอกชนชั้นนำด้านการแพทย์ของญี่ปุ่น ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี ค.ศ. 1964 และมีคณะหลัก 3 คณะ ได้แก่ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์การแพทย์ และคณะวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ มหาวิทยาลัยมีโรงพยาบาลในเครือหลัก 4 แห่งที่ตั้งอยู่ในจังหวัดไอจิและมิเอะ ซึ่งให้บริการทางการแพทย์และการศึกษาทางการแพทย์ในภูมิภาคชูบุของญี่ปุ่น

孔敬大学延续全球使命，深化与日本藤田保健大学的合作关系

2025年5月14日，孔敬大学校长 Chanachai Phanthongviriyakul 副教授率孔敬大学代表团前往日本藤田保健大学，出席并签署延长学术合作备忘录（MOU）的仪式。此次合作标志着两校在医学及健康科学领域的合作关系迈入新的阶段，朝着可持续发展的方向稳步推进。

藤田保健大学是日本著名的私立医科大学，成立于1964年，设有三个主要学院：医学部、医科学部以及健康科学部。大学旗下共有四所主要附属医院，分别位于爱知县与三重县，为日本中部地区提供医疗服务与医学教育支持。

合作进展包括：

• 2006年：孔敬大学医学院与藤田保健大学开始建立合作关系。
• 2007年：合作扩展至健康科学学院，重点推进复健医学领域的发展。
• 2015年：双方签署大学层级的合作备忘录（MOU）。
• 2022年：签署协议，共同设立复健医学双博士学位课程（Double Degree Program），以培养具备国际竞争力的高层次医学研究人员与专业人才。

On May 6, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, and the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with two leading universities from the United Kingdom: the College of Medical and Dental Sciences, University of Birmingham, and the Centre for Anatomy and Human Identification, University of Dundee. The objective of this collaboration is to elevate anatomy education in Thailand to meet international standards.

This method preserves tissue conditions and anatomical structures to closely resemble those of the living body, in terms of flexibility, skin tone, and tissue texture. It significantly enhances the practical training experience for medical students and residents, enabling them to acquire hands-on skills that closely simulate real clinical practice.

“ขอนแก่น-มหิดล” ผนึกกำลัง “เบอร์มิงแฮม-ดันดี” เดินหน้ายกระดับกายวิภาคศาสตร์ไทยสู่มาตรฐานโลก

เมื่อวันที่ 6 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2568 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น และคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ได้ร่วมลงนามในบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) กับสองมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำจากสหราชอาณาจักร ได้แก่ College of Medical and Dental Sciences, University of Birmingham และ Centre for Anatomy and Human Identification, University of Dundee เพื่อยกระดับการศึกษากายวิภาคศาสตร์ของประเทศไทยให้เทียบเท่ามาตรฐานสากล

ความร่วมมือนี้มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้และนวัตกรรมการสอนด้านกายวิภาคศาสตร์ โดยเฉพาะการประยุกต์ใช้เทคนิคการดองศพแบบ Thiel ซึ่งเป็นเทคนิคที่ช่วยรักษาสภาพเนื้อเยื่อและโครงสร้างร่างกายให้ใกล้เคียงกับสภาพจริงมากที่สุด ทั้งในด้านความยืดหยุ่น สีผิว และเนื้อเยื่อ ซึ่งจะช่วยเสริมสร้างทักษะการฝึกปฏิบัติของนักศึกษาแพทย์และแพทย์ประจำบ้านให้มีประสิทธิภาพใกล้เคียงกับการปฏิบัติงานจริง

孔敬大学与玛希隆大学携手伯明翰大学与邓迪大学 推动泰国解剖学迈向国际标准

2025年5月6日，孔敬大学医学院与玛希隆大学理学院，联合英国两所名牌大学–伯明翰大学医学与牙科科学学院（College of Medical and Dental Sciences, University of Birmingham）和邓迪大学人体解剖与身份识别中心（Centre for Anatomy and Human Identification, University of Dundee），签署了合作备忘录（MOU），旨在将泰国的解剖学教育提升至国际标准。

本次合作旨在推动解剖学教学知识与创新的发展，特别是推广 Thiel 防腐技术的应用该技术能够最大程度地保留尸体组织和解剖结构的真实状态，包括柔韧性、皮肤颜色和组织质感，从而有效提升医学生和住院医师的实操技能，使其训练过程更贴近真实临床环境。

The visit concluded with a tour of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, led by Assoc. Prof. Kiattisak Kongwattanakul, and a visit to the Khon Kaen University National Phenome Institute, hosted by Asst. Prof. Phetcharaburanin and his team.

ในโอกาสนี้ รศ.นพ.ภัทรพงษ์ มกรเวส คณบดีคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น และ รศ.เติมศักดิ์ ศรีคิรินทร์ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์เทคโนโลยีโลหะและวัสดุแห่งชาติ ได้ร่วมลงนามเป็นตัวแทนของทั้งสองหน่วยงาน ถือเป็นหมุดหมายสำคัญที่สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นในการปฏิวัติอุตสาหกรรมเครื่องมือแพทย์ไทย เพื่อลดการพึ่งพาการนำเข้า และสร้างศักยภาพการแข่งขันของประเทศไทยในตลาดโลก

 

ปักหมุดอนาคตใหม่ของอุตสาหกรรมเครื่องมือแพทย์ไทย

ความร่วมมือนี้ถือเป็นแรงขับเคลื่อนที่สำคัญให้เกิดการพัฒนาและต่อยอดองค์ความรู้สู่การใช้งานจริง สถานบริหารจัดการงานวิจัยคลินิก มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น (ACRO) ได้แสดงศักยภาพในฐานะแกนกลางของการวิจัยทางคลินิก ด้วยบทบาทสำคัญในการสนับสนุนนักวิจัยและพัฒนาเครื่องมือแพทย์ นำองค์ความรู้จากห้องทดลองไปสู่การผลิตที่ได้มาตรฐานสากล ซึ่งที่ผ่านมา ACRO ได้ดำเนินโครงการฝึกอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการเพื่อเพิ่มศักยภาพของนวัตกรไทยให้สามารถแข่งขันในเวทีนานาชาติ

ในขณะเดียวกัน เอ็มเทค สวทช. ได้แสดงให้เห็นถึงบทบาทสำคัญในด้านการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีวัสดุชีวภาพและโลหะ เพื่อสนับสนุนอุตสาหกรรมการแพทย์ไทย ซึ่งจะช่วยให้การผลิตเครื่องมือแพทย์ที่มีประสิทธิภาพสูงเกิดขึ้นภายในประเทศ ลดต้นทุน และเพิ่มขีดความสามารถของนักวิจัยไทยให้ก้าวสู่ระดับโลก

 

จากข้อตกลงสู่การเปลี่ยนแปลงที่จับต้องได้

ภายหลังพิธีลงนาม ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้เยี่ยมชมสถานบริหารจัดการงานวิจัยคลินิก (ACRO) ซึ่งเป็นศูนย์กลางด้านนวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีทางการแพทย์ มีการจัดกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ อบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ และพัฒนาทักษะของบุคลากรเพื่อผลักดันการวิจัยไปสู่การใช้งานจริง

การร่วมมือกันของมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นและเอ็มเทค สวทช. ครั้งนี้ เป็นมากกว่าการลงนามในเอกสาร แต่คือจุดเริ่มต้นของการปฏิวัติวงการการแพทย์ไทย เสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้กับระบบสาธารณสุข และปูทางให้ประเทศไทยก้าวขึ้นเป็นศูนย์กลางด้านนวัตกรรมชีววัสดุและอุปกรณ์การแพทย์ในระดับสากล

On December 11, 2024, the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University (MDKKU) engaged in discussions with the College of Medicine at Chang Gung University, Taiwan, with the aim of strengthening academic cooperation and research collaboration, as well as exploring opportunities for student exchange programs at various levels. The delegation from MDKKU was led by Assoc. Prof. Warachaya Phanphruk, Assistant Dean for International Relations, MDKKU.

The discussions included the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), exploring the feasibility of establishing a medical student exchange program, and discussing potential exchanges for residents and postgraduate students. Additionally, both parties explored other areas for future collaboration, including research and academic initiatives. The talks were held with Prof. Thomas Lei, Dean of the Office of International Affairs, and Prof. Jim-Tong Horng, Associate Dean for International Affairs, College of Medicine at Chang Gung University.

Chang Gung University is renowned for its excellence in medical education and research, particularly in Taiwan and the broader Asia-Pacific region. The university is a leader in medical technology and healthcare innovation and plays a pivotal role in shaping medical education and research globally.

 

 

Following the discussions, the MDKKU delegation had the opportunity to visit the Center for Clinical Skills & Simulation, led by Assoc. Prof. Ming-Ju Hsieh, the center’s chair. The center is an integral part of the undergraduate medical curriculum and postgraduate training at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. It is equipped with advanced medical training tools and offers students opportunities to integrate medical knowledge with hands-on practice in simulated learning environments.

The Center for Clinical Skills & Simulation at Chang Gung University has become a cornerstone of the curriculum, aimed at improving basic clinical skills and strengthening clinical reasoning. The center promotes collaborative competence within multidisciplinary healthcare teams through simulation-based education, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the challenges of modern medical practice.

 

 

After visiting The Center for Clinical Skills & Simulation, Prof. Horng guided the MDKKU representatives through important facilities, including the research centers and clinical laboratories. These state-of-the-art facilities play a critical role in enhancing students’ clinical training and fostering advanced medical research.

This collaboration highlights the commitment of both institutions to advance medical education and research, promoting a global exchange of knowledge and experiences between students and faculty members.

คณะแพทย์ฯ มข. ร่วมมือกับ Chang Gung University ไต้หวัน เพื่อเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ทางวิชาการ

เมื่อวันที่ 11 ธันวาคม 2567 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เยือนคณะแพทยศาสตร์ Chang Gung University ไต้หวัน เพื่อเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านวิชาการและการวิจัย รวมถึงหารือเกี่ยวกับการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาในระดับต่าง ๆ  ผู้แทนจาก คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นในการเยือนครั้งนี้ นำโดย รศ. วรัชญา พันธุ์พฤกษ์ ผู้ช่วยฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์และสื่อสารองค์กร

การหารือในครั้งนี้ยังรวมไปถึงการต่ออายุบันทึกความร่วมมือ (MOU) เกี่ยวกับกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาแพทย์ แพทย์ประจำบ้าน นักศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา และความร่วมมือด้านอื่น ๆ ทั้งในด้านการวิจัยและวิชาการ การหารือครั้งนี้มีผู้เข้าร่วมจาก Chang Gung University ได้แก่ Prof. Thomas Lei, Dean of the Office of International Affairs และ Prof. Jim-Tong Horng รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ แห่ง Chang Gung University

ศูนย์ทักษะทางการแพทย์และการจำลองสถานการณ์ที่ Chang Gung University ได้กลายเป็นจุดสำคัญของหลักสูตรการศึกษา มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาทักษะพื้นฐานทางการแพทย์และเสริมสร้างกระบวนการคิดทางการแพทย์ พร้อมทั้งส่งเสริมการทำงานร่วมกันเป็นทีม ผ่านการศึกษาที่ใช้การจำลองสถานการณ์เป็นหลัก เพื่อให้นักศึกษาพร้อมรับมือกับความท้าทายของการแพทย์สมัยใหม่

หลังจากการเยี่ยมชมศูนย์ทักษะทางการแพทย์และการจำลองสถานการณ์ Prof. Horng ได้พาคณะผู้แทนจาก คณะแพทย์ฯ มข. เยี่ยมชมศูนย์วิจัยและห้องปฏิบัติการทางการแพทย์ ที่มีบทบาทสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างการฝึกอบรมทางคลินิกและสนับสนุนการวิจัยทางการแพทย์ที่ล้ำสมัย

ความร่วมมือครั้งนี้แสดงถึงความมุ่งมั่นของทั้งสองสถาบันในการพัฒนาการศึกษาและการวิจัยทางการแพทย์ รวมถึงส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และประสบการณ์ระหว่างนักศึกษาและคณาจารย์จากต่างประเทศ

 

 

On December 10, 2024, representatives from the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University (MDKKU), embarked on an inspiring visit to the prestigious National Taiwan University College of Medicine (NTUCM). This visit marked a significant step in fostering international collaboration in medical education, research, and student exchange programs.

The delegation from MDKKU, led by Assoc. Prof. Warachaya Phanphruk, Assistant Dean for International Relations, engaged with esteemed representatives from NTUCM, including Prof. Li-Jiuan Rita Shen, Associate Dean for International Affairs, and Ms. Ginger Yang, Administrative Secretary of International Affairs. The discussions centered on four key objectives:

• Exploring potential collaboration on medical research and academic projects
• Exploring the feasibility of establishing a student exchange program
• Identifying opportunities for resident and postgraduate exchanges

The MD-KKU delegation had the opportunity to visit the Department of Ophthalmology at NTUCM, where they were introduced to advanced medical technologies and cutting-edge research. The visit also included an exploration of the renowned National Taiwan University Children’s Hospital, guided by Dr. Liu. This facility is a shining example of child-centered care, integrating a multidisciplinary team of pediatric healthcare experts to address complex and severe childhood diseases. The hospital’s commitment to comprehensive care—from genetics and neonatology to adolescent medicine—demonstrates its pivotal role in advancing pediatric healthcare. Furthermore, the hospital integrates clinical care with basic medical research to enhance the quality of children’s health services and contribute to public health policies.

The visit underscored the shared commitment of both institutions to driving medical innovation and cultivating global healthcare leaders. The discussions laid the groundwork for collaborative initiatives that promise to benefit both students and faculty, enhancing academic excellence and professional development.
