Each year, we welcome over 120 foreign medical students and residents from many universities (including from: Oxford University, UK: Case Western Reserve University, USA; Mie University, Japan; Innsbruck Medical University, Austria) at four-week (or longer) elective exchanges.
Throughout the elective program, visiting medical students are taught about endemic tropical diseases and get real-life experience at the university hospital during ward rounds under supervision of Thai doctors and nurses. We also offer a one-week community and public health experiences.
In addition to the clinical experiences, electives will be impressed with the distinctive Thai culture, especially northeastern cuisine, dress, temple architecture, festivals and arts.
