A delegation from the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University (KKU), Thailand, visited the Center of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) on June 4-5, 2026 to strengthen academic collaboration in occupational and environmental medicine.
The visit aimed to enhance cooperation in the Master of Science Program in Occupational Medicine and Occupational Health and the Preventive Medicine Residency Training Program in Occupational Medicine, with the goal of advancing postgraduate education and specialist training to international standards.
During the visit, the KKU delegation observed NTUH’s multidisciplinary clinical operations and the integration of occupational health services within the healthcare system. The delegation also gained insights into national systems for occupational disease surveillance and reporting, including the CORD network and the national network for occupational disease prevention and reporting.
Both institutions exchanged perspectives on residency training frameworks based on the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), including competency-based education and standardized assessment approaches. The KKU delegation also presented its strengths in occupational health services, particularly its nationally recognized program for healthcare workers, along with postgraduate training and research activities.
The visit provided valuable opportunities for academic exchange, resource sharing, and discussion of future collaboration in education, research, and professional training. It marks an important step in strengthening long-term cooperation between the two institutions in advancing occupational and environmental medicine.
คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เสริมความร่วมมือด้านอาชีวเวชศาสตร์กับ NTUH
คณะผู้แทนจาก คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เดินทางเยือน Center of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) ระหว่างวันที่ 4–5 มิถุนายน 2569 เพื่อเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการด้านอาชีวเวชศาสตร์ในระดับนานาชาติ
การเยือนครั้งนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อพัฒนาความร่วมมือในหลักสูตร วิทยาศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต สาขาอาชีวเวชศาสตร์และอาชีวอนามัย และ หลักสูตรแพทย์ประจำบ้านสาขาเวชศาสตร์ป้องกัน แขนงอาชีวเวชศาสตร์ เพื่อยกระดับการศึกษาและการฝึกอบรมให้สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานสากล
คณะผู้แทนได้แลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับระบบบริการด้านอาชีวเวชศาสตร์ที่เน้นการทำงานแบบสหวิชาชีพ รวมถึงการบูรณาการบริการสุขภาพคนทำงานเข้ากับระบบบริการสุขภาพโดยรวม นอกจากนี้ยังได้เรียนรู้ระบบเครือข่ายการเฝ้าระวังและรายงานโรคจากการประกอบอาชีพ อาทิ เครือข่าย CORD และเครือข่ายระดับชาติด้านการป้องกันโรคจากการประกอบอาชีพ
ทั้งสองสถาบันได้แลกเปลี่ยนแนวทางการฝึกอบรมแพทย์ประจำบ้านตามกรอบของ World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) ครอบคลุมการเรียนการสอนแบบมุ่งเน้นสมรรถนะและระบบการประเมินผลตามมาตรฐานสากล พร้อมทั้งคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้นำเสนอศักยภาพด้านบริการอาชีวอนามัย โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ รวมถึงงานด้านการศึกษาและการวิจัย
การเยือนครั้งนี้เปิดโอกาสสำคัญในการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ การใช้ทรัพยากรร่วมกัน และหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือในอนาคต ทั้งด้านการศึกษา การวิจัย และการพัฒนาบุคลากร ซึ่งจะช่วยเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระยะยาวระหว่างสองสถาบันในการพัฒนางานด้านอาชีวเวชศาสตร์ให้ก้าวหน้าอย่างยั่งยืน
