On 8 July 2026, the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Thuss Sanguansak, Vice Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication, welcomed Penny Kharroubi, Educational Partnerships Manager from the Educational Partnerships Office, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London, United Kingdom, during her visit to the Faculty of Medicine to discuss opportunities for strengthening academic collaboration between the two institutions.
The discussion focused on exchanging ideas to promote academic collaboration between the two institutions, covering areas including medical education, research, medical student exchange programmes, faculty and researcher exchange, as well as joint academic activities. These collaborative initiatives aim to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices, while providing opportunities for students and staff from both institutions to gain international learning experiences and strengthen global academic networks.
As an Educational Partnerships Manager, Penny Kharroubi is responsible for promoting and developing partnerships with affiliated institutions of the Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London. Her role involves planning, coordinating, and supporting the establishment of new collaborative projects to align with the goals and needs of partner institutions, while fostering international educational networks.
The discussion marked another important step in strengthening the relationship between the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, and Imperial College London. Both institutions expressed their commitment to promoting collaboration in education, research, and academic activities, expanding opportunities for the development of students, staff, and researchers, and enhancing international engagement through sustainable academic partnerships.

เมื่อวันที่ 8 กรกฎาคม 2569 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น นำโดย รองศาสตราจารย์ธรรศ สงวนศักดิ์ รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์และสื่อสารองค์กร ให้การต้อนรับ คุณ Penny Kharroubi ตำแหน่ง Educational Partnerships Manager จาก Educational Partnerships Office, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London สหราชอาณาจักร ในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนคณะแพทยศาสตร์ เพื่อหารือแนวทางการพัฒนาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างทั้งสองสถาบัน
การหารือครั้งนี้มุ่งเน้นการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างทั้งสองสถาบัน โดยครอบคลุมความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษา การวิจัย การพัฒนาหลักสูตรแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา การแลกเปลี่ยนบุคลากรและนักวิจัย ตลอดจนการดำเนินกิจกรรมทางวิชาการร่วมกัน เพื่อส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ ประสบการณ์ และแนวปฏิบัติที่เป็นเลิศ พร้อมทั้งเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาและบุคลากรของทั้งสองสถาบันได้เรียนรู้ในบริบทนานาชาติ และเสริมสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในระดับสากล
ในฐานะ Educational Partnerships Manager คุณ Penny Kharroubi รับผิดชอบด้านการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาความร่วมมือกับสถาบันพันธมิตรของ Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London โดยมีบทบาทในการวางแผน ประสานงาน และสนับสนุนการจัดตั้งโครงการความร่วมมือใหม่ เพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายและความต้องการของสถาบันคู่ความร่วมมือ และส่งเสริมการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางการศึกษาระหว่างประเทศ
การหารือในครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในการกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น และ Imperial College London โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายมีความมุ่งมั่นที่จะส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษา การวิจัย และกิจกรรมทางวิชาการร่วมกัน เพื่อขยายโอกาสในการพัฒนาศักยภาพของนักศึกษา บุคลากร และนักวิจัย ตลอดจนยกระดับความเป็นนานาชาติของทั้งสองสถาบันผ่านความร่วมมือทางวิชาการที่ยั่งยืน
