On 21 July 2026, the Cellular Therapy Center, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, welcomed a delegation from Mitsui Chemicals, Inc., Japan, led by Dr. Shunsuke Fujii, General Manager, New Business Incubation Center, and Mr. Akihiro Okabe, New Business Incubation Center. The visit was organized to explore opportunities for future collaboration in medical innovation and healthcare technologies. Representatives from SKAI MED Company Limited also joined the discussions as part of the visiting delegation.
Representing Khon Kaen University in welcoming the delegation were Assoc. Prof. Cholatip Pongskul, Assistant to the President for Strategic Plan Monitoring and Key Initiatives; Asst. Prof. Pongsutti Phuensane, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy; and Asst. Prof. Wiyada Punjaruk, Director of the Cellular Therapy Center.
During the visit, both parties held discussions on potential areas of collaboration, exchanging ideas on medical innovation, healthcare technologies, and opportunities for future research partnerships. The delegation also toured the Cellular Therapy Center to learn about its research capabilities, ongoing developments, and the application of cellular therapy technologies at Khon Kaen University.
The visit marks another significant step in strengthening collaborative networks between the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, and industrial partners in Japan. It provides valuable opportunities to exchange knowledge, advance research, and foster innovation in cellular therapy and medical technologies, ultimately contributing to improved healthcare and better patient outcomes.

ศูนย์เซลล์บำบัดรักษา คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มข. ต้อนรับผู้แทนจาก Mitsui Chemicals ประเทศญี่ปุ่น
เมื่อวันที่ 21 กรกฎาคม 2569 ศูนย์เซลล์บำบัดรักษา คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ให้การต้อนรับผู้แทนจาก Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. ประเทศญี่ปุ่น นำโดย Dr. Shunsuke Fujii, General Manager จาก New Business Incubation Center และ Mr. Akihiro Okabe จาก New Business Incubation Center ในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นเพื่อหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือด้านนวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีทางการแพทย์ พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้แทนจาก SKAI MED Company Limited ซึ่งได้เข้าร่วมการหารือในครั้งนี้
ในการนี้ ผู้แทนจากมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นที่ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ ได้แก่ รองศาสตราจารย์ชลธิป พงศ์สกุล ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายติดตามยุทธศาสตร์และโครงการสำคัญ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์พงษ์สุทธิ พื้นแสน คณบดีคณะบริหารธุรกิจและการบัญชี และ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์วิยะดา ปัญจรัก ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์เซลล์บำบัดรักษา คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น
ภายในการเยือนครั้งนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้ร่วมหารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการพัฒนาความร่วมมือในอนาคต โดยแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลด้านนวัตกรรม เทคโนโลยีทางการแพทย์ และโอกาสในการต่อยอดงานวิจัยร่วมกัน พร้อมทั้งเยี่ยมชมการดำเนินงานของ ศูนย์เซลล์บำบัดรักษา เพื่อศึกษาศักยภาพด้านการวิจัย การพัฒนา และการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีเซลล์บำบัดของคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น
การเยือนในครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น กับภาคอุตสาหกรรมและพันธมิตรจากประเทศญี่ปุ่น ซึ่งจะช่วยเปิดโอกาสในการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ การพัฒนางานวิจัย และการต่อยอดนวัตกรรมด้านเซลล์บำบัดและเทคโนโลยีทางการแพทย์ เพื่อยกระดับการรักษาพยาบาลและสร้างประโยชน์ต่อผู้ป่วยในอนาคต
