The Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, hosted Dr. Sinem Cilingir, a cleft and craniofacial fellow from Perth Children’s Hospital, Australia for an intensive clinical observership at the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, from April 20–24, 2026.
During her visit, Dr. Cilingir observed clinical practice and engaged in knowledge exchange focused on complex surgical care. Her itinerary included shadowing the surgical team in the operating room and outpatient clinic, as well as participating in academic activities, including the weekly Journal Club and Grand Rounds, which provided a comprehensive overview of the faculty’s international professional learning environment.
Dr. Cilingir also visited the Tawanchai Foundation, a global leader in patients with cleft lip, cleft palate, and craniofacial conditions. She met with Professor Bowornsilp Chowchuen to discuss the approach of “Team Building and Strategic Ecosystem Development” for sustainable cleft lip and palate care. This collaboration offered valuable insights for the future advancement of surgical practice.
The visit underscored the faculty’s commitment to combining academic excellence with compassionate patient care.
The success of this program reinforces the position of the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, as a regional hub for medical education, strengthening collaborative networks with leading global medical institutions.

คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ยกระดับความร่วมมือด้านศัลยกรรมปากแหว่งเพดานโหว่ ต้อนรับศัลยแพทย์จาก Perth Children’s Hospital
คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ต้อนรับ Dr. Sinem Cilingir ศัลยแพทย์เฉพาะทางด้านปากแหว่งเพดานโหว่และกะโหลกศีรษะและใบหน้า (Cleft and Craniofacial Fellow) จาก Perth Children’s Hospital ประเทศออสเตรเลีย ในโอกาสเข้าศึกษาดูงานแลกเปลี่ยนทางคลินิก (Clinical Observership) ระหว่างวันที่ 20-24 เมษายน 2569 ตลอดระยะเวลาการศึกษาดูงาน Dr. Cilingir ได้เข้าร่วมสังเกตการณ์การผ่าตัดและแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ด้านศัลยกรรมความซับซ้อนสูง โดยมุ่งเน้นการศึกษาระบบการทำงานของทีมศัลยแพทย์ของคณะฯ ทั้งในห้องผ่าตัดและหน่วยผู้ป่วยนอก นอกจากนี้ยังได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมวิชาการ อาทิ Journal Club และ Grand Rounds เพื่อเสริมสร้างประสบการณ์การแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ระดับนานาชาติ
Dr. Cilingir ยังได้เยี่ยมชมมูลนิธิตะวันฉาย และร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนทัศนะกับ ศาสตราจารย์บวรศิลป์ เชาวน์ชื่น ในหัวข้อ “Team Building and Strategic Ecosystem Development” เพื่อถอดบทเรียนการสร้างระบบนิเวศเชิงกลยุทธ์สำหรับการดูแลผู้ป่วยอย่างยั่งยืน การเยี่ยมชมครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นแลกเปลี่ยนทางวิชาการ แต่ยังเป็นการกระชับความสัมพันธ์และบูรณาการแนวคิดความเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการเข้ากับการดูแลผู้ป่วยอย่างเป็นองค์รวม ความสำเร็จของกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ ตอกย้ำศักยภาพของคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในการเป็นศูนย์กลางการเรียนรู้ทางการแพทย์ระดับภูมิภาค และการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระดับนานาชาติอย่างยั่งยืน
孔敬大学医学院与珀斯儿童医院开展唇腭裂外科临床交流
2026年4月20日至24日，澳大利亚珀斯儿童医院（Perth Children’s Hospital）唇腭裂与颅面外科专科研究员 Sinem Cilingir 医生访问孔敬大学医学院，开展为期五天的临床观摩与交流活动（Clinical Observership）。
访学期间，Cilingir 医生重点观摩了复杂外科手术流程，深度了解孔敬大学医学院在手术室管理及门诊诊疗方面的运作体系。此外，通过参加 Journal Club 及临床查房（Grand Rounds），双方在国际化专业实践领域进行了深入交流。
Cilingir 医生还访问了“塔万猜基金会”（Tawanchai Foundation），与 Bovornsilp Chowchuen 教授就“团队建设与战略生态系统发展”展开研讨，探讨如何构建可持续发展的唇腭裂患者综合照护体系。
此次交流不仅提升了学术互通，更彰显了孔敬大学医学院在医学教育与临床培训方面的国际影响力，进一步巩固了其作为区域性医学交流中心的地位。
