MDKKU Professors Receive National Research Council of Thailand Research Grants

 

Two  Professors from the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, had recently received support funds from the National Research Council of Thailand.

Congratulations to Dr. Jutarop Phetcharaburanin, Department of Biochemistry, and Assistant Professor Sarinya Kongpetch, Department of Pharmacology, for their  Outstanding Young Researcher Supporting Grants from the National Research Council of Thailand. The Outstanding Young Researcher Supporting Grant is a joint project between the Ministry of Education and National Research Council of Thailand to support new generation researchers  to enhance   their research and future careers.   This will help boost  high quality research  and overall education  in Thailand.

MDKKU and DB Result PTY Ltd consider Collaboration in Healthcare Digital Transformation


On December 7, 2020, Mr. Simon Royle, Country Director Indochina, and Mr. Stuart Shaw, Chief Marketing Officer Indochina, DB Result Pty Ltd visited the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University to discuss the possibility of collaboration in developing digital transformation for healthcare.

The Faulty of Medicine led by Assistant Professor Chavakij Bhoomibunchoo, Associate Dean for Medical Hub and Center of Excellence, Associate Professor Wimonrat Sriraj, Associate Dean for Research and International Affairs, Assistant Professor Paitoon Patiyannawat, Assistant to the Dean for Medical Hub and Center of Excellence, Dr. Jutarop Phetcharaburanin, Assistant to the Dean for Research and International Affairs, and Mrs. Duangsamorn Chankwang, Head, International Relations Office, welcomed the delegates.

DB Result Pty Ltd. is an award winning Australian digital business consulting and technology company with strong capability in the healthcare sector. The DB Results Pty Ltd. Australia offered the Faculty of Medicine collaboration in implementing software to upgrade and increase Srinagarind Hospital’s work efficiency by replacing some paper-based systems with computer-based systems

Associate Professor Songsak Kiatchoosakun, MD, Director, Srinagarind Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University and administrator, officially received the UHosNet flag from Professor Sirikasem Sirilak, MD, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Naresuan University and Acting for Naresuan University Hospital Director, December 4, 2020. As the Naresuan University Hospital was the host for the UHOSNET 74th Meeting held on December 3-4, 2020 at Top land Plaza Hotel, Phitsanulok Province Srinagarind Hospital will host the University Hospital Network (UHOSNET) 75th: conference in April 29-30, 2021

 

 

 

 

 

MDKKU Seminar on “Procedures for the Employment of Foreigners”

 

On December 3, 2020, International Relations Office, of the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, hosted a seminar on “Procedure for the Employment of Foreigner” at Lecture Room 1, Pre-clinical Sciences Building 2, 2nd floor, the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University.

The purpose of this event was to enhance Khon Kaen University Staff’s knowledge about the processes for employing foreigners. The seminar covered foreign employee law, regulation, acts and national policy and how to avoid any violation during foreigner employment process.

Associate Professor Wimonrat Sriraj, Associate Dean for the Research and International Relations Affairs presided over the seminar and gave an opening speech. Invited speakers were Police Captain Tatsana Chaisang, Sub-Inspector of Immigration, Khon Kaen Province who spoke on “Visa Application Process for Foreign Employee”, Miss Darunee Chaidej, Labour Specialist, professional level, and Mr. Bancha Kanunthong, Labour Specialist, from the Department of Employment of Khon Kaen Province, who shared their experience on “Application Procedures for foreign employee Work Permit”.

The seminar was a great success with 50 participants in the auditorium and another 20 participating online.

งานประชุมสัมมนาแนวปฏิบัติการจ้างลูกจ้างชาวต่างชาติ

 

ขอเชิญชวนผู้ที่สนใจเข้าร่วมการประชุมสัมมนาแนวปฏิบัติการจ้างลูกจ้างชาวต่างชาติ ในวันที่ 3 ธันวาคม 2563 เวลา เวลา 08:30-12:00 น. ณ ห้องบรรยาย 1 อาคารเตรียมวิทยาศาสตร์ปรีคลินิก ชั้น 2 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เนื่องจากในปัจจุบันคณะ ภาควิชา และมหาวิทยาลัยต่างก็มีความต้องการในการจ้างลูกจ้างชาวต่างชาติเพื่อมาร่วมพัฒนาองค์กรและหน่วยงาน แต่ในปีที่ผ่านมาได้มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงเรื่องกฎ ระเบียบในการจ้างงานหลายอย่าง ฝ่ายวิจัยและวิเทศสัมพันธ์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้เล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญจึงได้ทำการจัดงานประชุมนี้ขึ้นมา งานประชุมนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อให้บุคลากรที่เข้าร่วมได้ทราบถึงแนวปฏิบัติในการจ้างลูกจ้างชาวต่างชาติ เพื่อให้สามารถปฏิบัติงานได้ถูกต้องถามตามกฏหมาย

ด้วย Euroweek Foundation สาธารณรัฐโปแลนด์ กำลังเปิดรับสมัครผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมโครงการ 2021 THAI Youth Leadership and Voluntary Service in Poland โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมเยาวชน    คนรุ่นใหม่ให้มีวิสัยทัศน์และทักษะในการใช้ชีวิต มีภาวะผู้นำที่เอื้อต่อการพัฒนาสังคม อีกทั้งเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาต่างชาติได้แลกเปลี่ยนและสร้างความเข้าใจซึ่งกันและกันทางวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งเปิดรับสมัครผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมโครงการดังกล่าวออกเป็น 2 กลุ่ม ได้แก่

โครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา Intercultural and Global OITA Based Education (IGLOBE- English, N4)

ด้วย Oita University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น รับสมัครนักศึกษาเข้าร่วมโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา  Intercultural and Global OITA Based Education (IGLOBE- English, N4)  ซึ่งแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ช่วงคือ

1. Period I (เริ่มเข้าศึกษาภายในเดือนเมษายน 2564)

2. Period II (เริ่มเข้าศึกษาภายในเดือนตุลาคม 2564)

โดยผู้สมัครจะต้องมีคุณสมบัติดังนี้

1. เป็นนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี หรือระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา

2. ผู้ที่มีผลการสอบวัดความสามารถภาษาอังกฤษ TOEFL 500 หรือ IELTS 5.5 (ต้องมี)

3. ผู้ที่มีผลการสอบวัดความสามารถภาษาญี่ปุ่น JLPT ระดับ N4 ขึ้นไป (กรณีสมัครโปรแกรม N4)

4. ต้องกลับมาศึกษาต่อที่มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น อย่างน้อย 1 ภาคการศึกษา ภายหลังจากเสร็จสิ้นโครงการ

5. ผู้ที่มีผลการเรียนดีมาก และมีความคาดหวังตั้งใจในการไปศึกษา ณ Oita University

6. ผู้ที่มีเอกสารหลักฐานครบถ้วนที่สุด และเอกสารประกอบการสมัครต้องเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ
