On December 9, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, welcomed Dr. Michael Morley and Dr. Katharine Morley from Harvard Medical School, USA, on the occasion of their visit as distinguished invited speakers for the program “Capacity Development Training Program to Enhance Researchers’ Competencies for International Advancement,” organized by the Research and Innovation Division, Faculty of Medicine, and held from December 8–11, 2025.
During the visit, the experts paid a courtesy call on the executive administrators of the Faculty of Medicine. The delegation was officially welcomed by Associate Professor Pattarapong Makarawate, MD, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, together with the faculty’s executive team, including:
- Associate Professor Kosin Wirasorn, MD, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs
- Professor Sirirat Anutrakulchai, MD, Vice Dean for Research and Innovation
- Professor Olan Suwan-apichon, MD, Vice Dean for Human Resources
- Associate Professor Praew Kotruchin, MD, Vice Dean for Student Development
- Associate Professor Thuss Sanguansak, MD, Vice Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication
- Associate Professor Warachaya Phanphruk, MD, Assistant for International Relations and Corporate Communication
- Associate Professor Pariwat Phoo-ngern, MD, Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine
The meeting focused on discussions on potential areas of academic and research collaboration, particularly in strengthening research capacity, advancing researchers’ competencies toward international standards, and fostering sustainable partnerships with leading global medical institutions.
This visit marks a significant step in enhancing international academic and research collaboration between the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, and Harvard Medical School. It reflects the Faculty’s strong commitment to advancing medical research, developing human resources, and positioning itself as a key partner in global medical education and research networks.

คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มข. เสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยและวิชาการ ต้อนรับผู้เชี่ยวชาญจาก Harvard Medical School
เมื่อวันที่ 9 ธันวาคม 2568 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ให้การต้อนรับ Dr. Michael Morley และ Dr. Katharine Morley จาก Harvard Medical School สหรัฐอเมริกา ในโอกาสเดินทางมายังคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในฐานะผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิรับเชิญ เพื่อบรรยายในโครงการ “Capacity Development Training Program to Enhance Researchers’ Competencies for International Advancement” ซึ่งจัดโดยฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม คณะแพทยศาสตร์ ระหว่างวันที่ 8–11 ธันวาคม 2568
ในโอกาสดังกล่าว คณะผู้เชี่ยวชาญได้เข้าพบผู้บริหารคณะแพทยศาสตร์ โดยมี รองศาสตราจารย์ภัทรพงษ์ มกรเวส คณบดีคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ให้การกล่าวต้อนรับอย่างเป็นทางการ พร้อมด้วยทีมผู้บริหารคณะแพทยศาสตร์ ได้แก่

การพบปะครั้งนี้มุ่งเน้นการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและ หารือแนวทางความร่วมมือทางวิชาการและการวิจัยในอนาคต โดยเฉพาะในมิติของการพัฒนาศักยภาพนักวิจัย การยกระดับงานวิจัยสู่ระดับนานาชาติ และการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือกับสถาบันการแพทย์ชั้นนำระดับโลก
การเยือนคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ของผู้เชี่ยวชาญจาก Harvard Medical School ในครั้งนี้ นับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านวิชาการและการวิจัยในระดับนานาชาติ ตอกย้ำบทบาทของคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในการพัฒนางานวิจัยและทรัพยากรบุคคลทางการแพทย์ให้มีศักยภาพทัดเทียมมาตรฐานสากล
