On July 3, 2023, KKU-MD welcomed a diverse group of medical exchange students from Austria, France, Belgium, Indonesia, Slovenia, Canada, Hungary, Poland, Spain, and UK.

On their Orientation Day, they were introduced to our faculty and programs via supervisor meetings as well as campus and city tours to famous attractions, such as Wat Nong Waeng to see a 360-degree panoramic view of Khon Kaen city from the peak, and to visit the elegant architecture of Wat Thung Setthi.

“I’m really excited to meet other people and to go around in Thailand and I’m excited to know more about my internship to discover new things and cultures also,” said Magalie, a Canadian exchange student.

“I’m kind of excited because I’ve been learning Thai on my own and I want to develop my Thai skills and get to know how to work in KKU to upgrade my research skills,” said Cabañas, a Spanish exchange student.
