孔敬大学医学院非常高兴地接待来自国际的医科生，参加从2025年1月7日至1月30日举行的选修交流项目，旨在促进知识、学术技能和文化经验的交流。
医学院骨科部门欢迎来自日本名古屋市大学的5名五年级医科生：Mr.Daina Saito、Mr.Keigo Tsunekawa、Mr.Kenta Sato、Mr.Ryoto Tsutsumi、Mr.Yasuhiro Kato。他们将于2025年1月7日至1月16日参与为期两周的交流项目。

Lao doctors and medical technicians have taken the stage at Khon Kaen University’s Faculty of Medicine to present their achievements following months of intensive clinical training and study. The event, designed to foster international collaboration and knowledge sharing, highlighted the transformative potential of cross-border medical exchange programs in Southeast Asia.
Representing the University of Health Sciences in Laos, these medical professionals shared their learnings from hands-on experience in specialized fields, sparking conversations on innovations and future collaborations between the two nations.
Emergency Medicine: Life-Saving Skills in Critical Situations
Dr. Ms. Nanthida Lithideth and Dr. Ms. Soulinthone Phimmasone, third-year residents in emergency medicine, detailed their four-week training program at Khon Kaen University’s Emergency Medicine Department. Their presentation explored advanced protocols for managing critical patients, shedding light on state-of-the-art approaches in emergency care.
Pathology: Decoding Genetics for Precision Medicine
Dr. Thatsavanh Keovongsong, a specialist in chromosome diagnostics, showcased his six-month journey in the Department of Pathology. His work focused on genetic analysis and its applications in disease diagnosis, demonstrating how advanced technologies can transform patient outcomes.
Immunology: Strengthening Diagnostic Capabilities
Mr. Airr Yeuanmany, a medical laboratory technician specializing in immunology, presented his contributions to clinical diagnostics during a six-month stint at Srinagarind Hospital’s Laboratory Medicine unit. His insights into immunological testing underscored the critical role of laboratory precision in modern healthcare.
The event wasn’t merely a platform for presentations; it became a powerful narrative of collaboration, with each participant representing a bridge between the healthcare systems of Laos and Thailand.

คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เปิดเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และนำเสนอผลงานของแพทย์ประจำบ้านและนักเทคนิคการแพทย์จากประเทศลาว ที่เข้าร่วมโครงการฝึกปฏิบัติงานด้านคลินิกและศึกษาดูงานในสาขาวิชาการแพทย์ที่สำคัญ โดยกิจกรรมนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้และความร่วมมือทางการแพทย์ในระดับภูมิภาค

The Faculty of Medicine at Khon Kaen University (KKU), Thailand, is set to break new ground in radiologic technology through an innovative collaboration with Dongseo University, South Korea. คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น (มข.) เตรียมสร้างปรากฏการณ์ใหม่ในวงการรังสีวิทยาด้วยการจับมือกับมหาวิทยาลัย Dongseo ประเทศเกาหลีใต้ ในโครงการความร่วมมือสุดล้ำ “ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ในรังสีวิทยาดิจิทัล” ภายใต้โครงการ Global Experiential Learning Site (GELS) ที่จะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 23-27 ธันวาคม 2567 นี้

Khon Kaen, Thailand – In a ceremony marking academic excellence and groundbreaking research, Professor Alexander Constantine Loukas has been awarded an honorary degree by Khon Kaen University, Thailand. The recognition celebrates his outstanding contributions to the field of Tropical Medicine, particularly his work on liver fluke infections and cholangiocarcinoma, diseases that have long posed significant health challenges in Southeast Asia.
A Legacy of Innovation and Hope
For over two decades, Professor Loukas has been at the forefront of research aimed at addressing critical regional health issues. His pioneering studies have expanded scientific understanding of liver fluke infections and associated bile duct cancers, providing new avenues for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. His work has given hope to countless individuals affected by these life-threatening diseases.
“Professor Loukas’s dedication has transformed how we approach one of the most pressing health challenges in our region. ขอนแก่น – มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น (มข.) หนึ่งในสถาบันการศึกษาชั้นนำของประเทศไทย ได้จัดพิธีมอบปริญญากิตติมศักดิ์ให้แก่ ศาสตราจารย์อเล็กซานเดอร์ คอนสแตนติน ลูคัส (Professor Alexander Constantine Loukas) นักวิจัยระดับโลก ผู้สร้างคุณูปการสำคัญในด้านการวิจัยโรคเขตร้อน โดยเฉพาะโรคพยาธิใบไม้ตับและมะเร็งท่อน้ำดี ซึ่งเป็นปัญหาสาธารณสุขใหญ่ในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้

ด้วยการทุ่มเทในงานวิจัยยาวนานกว่า 20 ปี ศาสตราจารย์ลูคัสได้นำเสนอแนวทางการป้องกัน การวินิจฉัย และการรักษาโรคที่มีประสิทธิภาพสูงขึ้น งานของเขาไม่เพียงช่วยเพิ่มคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วย แต่ยังลดภาระทางเศรษฐกิจของระบบสาธารณสุขในหลายประเทศ

Dr. Nalatporn Moyardee, a resident from the Department of Community Medicine, Family Medicine, and Occupational Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University (MDKKU), participated in an academic knowledge exchange program in Family Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Bergen, Norway, from November 4 to 30, 2024, for a total of four weeks.
This exchange program focused on sharing experiences in patient care, improving community health systems, and adapting Family Medicine principles to diverse contexts. It also served as an excellent opportunity to strengthen academic collaboration between Khon Kaen University and the University of Bergen.
The program aims to enhance the standards of medical services and advance the capabilities of medical professionals on a global scale. Furthermore, it supports the progress of Family Medicine services and establishes international medical collaboration networks for the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University.
แพทย์ มข. เดินทางแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ด้านเวชศาสตร์ครอบครัว ณ ประเทศนอร์เวย์
พญ. นลัทพร หมอยาดี แพทย์จากสาขาวิชาเวชศาสตร์ชุมชน เวชศาสตร์ครอบครัว และอาชีวเวชศาสตร์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้รับโอกาสเดินทางไปแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ทางวิชาการด้านเวชศาสตร์ครอบครัว ณ Faculty of Medicine, University of Bergen, ประเทศนอร์เวย์ ระหว่างวันที่ 4-30 พฤศจิกายน 2567 รวมระยะเวลา 4 สัปดาห์
การเดินทางครั้งนี้เน้นการแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ด้านการดูแลผู้ป่วยแบบองค์รวม การพัฒนาระบบสุขภาพในชุมชน และการนำแนวคิดเวชศาสตร์ครอบครัวไปปรับใช้ในบริบทที่หลากหลาย โดยยังถือเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นและมหาวิทยาลัยเบอร์เกน
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวมีเป้าหมายเพื่อยกระดับมาตรฐานการบริการและพัฒนาศักยภาพของบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ให้ก้าวไกลในระดับสากล รวมถึงสนับสนุนความก้าวหน้าในด้านการให้บริการเวชศาสตร์ครอบครัว และการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือด้านการแพทย์ในระดับนานาชาติของคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น
