Faculty of Medicine, KKU Welcomes Lao Physician for Fellowship Training in Oncology

 

The Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, is delighted to welcome Dr. Duangmany Thammavong, an internist from Mahosot Hospital, Ministry of Health, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, who has officially commenced a two-year Fellowship Training in Oncology at the Department of Internal Medicine. The program runs from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2027.

This training program signifies an important step in strengthening academic collaboration between the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, and medical institutions in the Lao PDR. It aims not only to enhance the professional expertise of medical specialists but also to contribute to the advancement of healthcare systems in the region. By facilitating opportunities for mutual exchange of knowledge and clinical experience, the program serves as a bridge for fostering long-term academic and professional partnerships.

The Faculty’s support for Dr. Thammavong reflects its broader commitment to internationalization—expanding academic cooperation with overseas institutions, promoting the exchange of students and healthcare professionals, and creating a dynamic academic environment conducive to both learning and innovation. Through such initiatives, the Faculty continues to strengthen its role as a leading medical education hub in the region and beyond.

 

 

 

 

คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ต้อนรับแพทย์จาก สปป.ลาว เข้าศึกษาต่อด้านมะเร็งวิทยา

คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ให้การต้อนรับ Dr. Duangmany Thammavong อายุรแพทย์จากโรงพยาบาลมโหสถ กระทรวงสาธารณสุข สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว (สปป. ลาว) ในโอกาสเข้าศึกษาและเพิ่มพูนทักษะในอนุสาขาวิชามะเร็งวิทยา (Fellowship Training in Oncology) ณ สาขาวิชาอายุรศาสตร์ เป็นระยะเวลา 2 ปี ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 กันยายน 2568 ถึงวันที่ 31 สิงหาคม 2570

การเข้าศึกษาในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญของความร่วมมือด้านวิชาการระหว่างคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น และสถาบันทางการแพทย์ของ สปป.ลาว โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะทางวิชาชีพของแพทย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ตลอดจนสนับสนุนการพัฒนาระบบสาธารณสุขของประเทศเพื่อนบ้านให้เข้มแข็งยิ่งขึ้น พร้อมทั้งเปิดโอกาสให้เกิดการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์ทางคลินิกที่เป็นประโยชน์ร่วมกัน

นอกจากนี้ การต้อนรับ Dr. Duangmany Thammavong ยังสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของคณะฯ ในการยกระดับความเป็นนานาชาติ ผ่านการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือกับสถาบันต่างประเทศ การแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาและบุคลากร ตลอดจนการสร้างบรรยากาศทางวิชาการที่เอื้อต่อการพัฒนาทั้งในด้านวิชาการและวิชาชีพ เพื่อก้าวสู่ความเป็นศูนย์กลางทางการแพทย์ที่มีบทบาทในระดับภูมิภาคและนานาชาติ

 

KKU Medical Student Presents Cholangiocarcinoma Research at International Conference in Japan

 

 

“This opportunity gave me the confidence to share my ideas internationally and motivated me to keep pursuing meaningful work in cancer research.”

Mr. Charat Kusoltech, a third-year medical student at the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, presented his research at The 84th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Cancer Association (JCA 2025) held in Japan from September 25–27, 2025.

The research, entitled “Complement Component 5a: A Possible Linkage Molecule Among Diabetes- and Inflammation-Mediated Progression of Cholangiocarcinoma,” explores the biological mechanisms linking diabetes and chronic inflammation to the progression of Cholangiocarcinoma. The study was supervised by Associate Professor Charupong Saengboonmee, MD, Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University.

Mr. Kusoltech’s participation was partially supported by the Global Student Platform Program, organized by the International Relations Office, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, which aims to encourage and empower students to contribute to global academic and research communities.

 

 

 

นายชลัฐ กุศลเตช นักศึกษาแพทย์ชั้นปีที่ 3 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เข้าร่วมนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยในงานประชุมวิชาการ The 84th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Cancer Association (JCA 2025) จัดขึ้น ณ ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ระหว่างวันที่ 25-27 กันยายน 2568

ผลงานวิจัยที่นำเสนอมีชื่อเรื่อง “Complement Component 5a: A Possible Linkage Molecule Among Diabetes- and Inflammation-Mediated Progression of Cholangiocarcinoma” ซึ่งเป็นการศึกษาเชิงลึกถึงกลไกทางชีวภาพของโรคมะเร็งท่อน้ำดี อันเชื่อมโยงกับภาวะเบาหวานและการอักเสบเรื้อรัง โดยมี รศ.นพ.จารุพงษ์ แสงบุญมี สาขาวิชาชีวเคมี คณะแพทยศาสตร์ เป็นอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา

การเข้าร่วมประชุมวิชาการในครั้งนี้ นอกจากจะเป็นเวทีในการนำเสนอผลงานต่อสาธารณชนนานาชาติแล้ว ยังเป็นโอกาสอันดีในการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้กับนักวิจัยและผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านมะเร็งจากทั่วโลก

การเข้าร่วมนำเสนอผลงานฯ ในครั้งนี้ ได้รับทุนสนับสนุนบางส่วนภายใต้ โครงการ Global Student Platform Program ซึ่งดำเนินการโดย งานวิเทศสัมพันธ์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เพื่อสนับสนุนและผลักดันนักศึกษาในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานวิจัยและพัฒนาศักยภาพสู่ระดับสากล

 

MDKKU and The University of Osaka Hospital Join Forces to Advance Infectious Diseases Research and Training

 

The collaboration aims to strengthen medical knowledge, clinical training, and research to address global health challenges in infectious diseases.

On October 1, 2025, a delegation from the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University (MDKKU), visited the Division of Infection Control and Prevention, The University of Osaka Hospital, Japan, to discuss potential collaborations in the field of infectious diseases.

 

 

The MDKKU delegation comprised:

  • Prof. Jariya Umka Welbat, Assistant Dean for Research and Innovation and Head, Department of Anatomy
  • Asst. Prof. Atibordee Meesing, Deputy Director of Srinagarind Hospital and an infectious disease specialist in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine, Department of Medicine
  • Assoc. Prof. Supranee Phanthanawiboon, Department of Microbiology
  • Mrs. Duangkamol Srisawasdi, Acting Head, International Relations Office

They were warmly welcomed by Prof. Satoshi Kutsuna and Assoc. Prof. Hiroo Matsuo, distinguished infectious disease specialists at the Division of Infection Control and Prevention, The University of Osaka Hospital.

During the meeting, both institutions discussed opportunities for faculty exchange, short-term training programs, and joint research projects in infectious diseases. Asst. Prof. Atibordee Meesing presented to the infectious disease doctors from The University of Osaka Hospital, highlighting the academic and clinical strengths of Srinagarind Hospital, sharing real case studies of patients, and MDKKU’s expertise in research and clinical service. This fostered a meaningful exchange of knowledge and approaches to patient management between the two institution.

MDKKU Strengthens Collaboration with Wakayama Medical University, Japan

 

On 30 September 2025, Mrs. Duangkamol Srisawasdi, Acting Head of the International Relations Office, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University (MDKKU), was officially assigned by Assoc. Prof. Thuss Sanguansak, Vice Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication, to represent the Faculty of Medicine in enhancing academic collaboration with the School of Medicine, Wakayama Medical University, Japan.

During the visit, Mrs. Duangkamol was warmly welcomed by Prof. Manabu Kawai, Professor and Chairman of the Second Department of Surgery, and Director of the Center for International Relations, together with Ms. Chie Hayashi, senior staff of the Center for International Relations.

The discussions focused on expanding academic exchanges between the two institutions, including opportunities for undergraduate medical students and physicians to participate in the Clinical Observership Program.

On this occasion, Mrs. Duangkamol also delivered the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Khon Kaen University and Wakayama Medical University, signed by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, to Prof. Kawai for further endorsement. This year, the MOU has been upgraded from the faculty level to the university level, further strengthening institutional collaboration between the two universities.

The collaboration between the two institutions began in 2004, with the first MOU signed in 2006. Since then, 26 students from Wakayama Medical University have joined exchange programs at MDKKU, while 44 students from MDKKU have participated in academic exchange programs at Wakayama Medical University. This recent discussion extends the scope of collaboration to include physician exchanges, further strengthening bilateral relations and fostering the exchange of academic knowledge and expertise between the two universities.

เมื่อวันที่ 30 กันยายน 2568 คุณดวงกมล ศรีสวัสดิ์ รักษาการหัวหน้างานวิเทศสัมพันธ์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้รับมอบหมายจาก รศ. ธรรศ สงวนศักดิ์ รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์และสื่อสารองค์กร เป็นผู้แทนคณะแพทยศาสตร์ เดินทางไปกระชับความร่วมมือกับ School of Medicine, Wakayama Medical University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น

ในการเยือนครั้งนี้ คุณดวงกมลได้รับการต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นจาก Prof. Manabu Kawai หัวหน้าสาขาวิชาศัลยศาสตร์ ที่ 2 และผู้อำนวยการศูนย์การต่างประเทศ พร้อมด้วย Ms. Chie Hayashi เจ้าหน้าที่อาวุโสศูนย์การต่างประเทศ

การหารือเน้นการขยายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างสองสถาบัน รวมถึงโอกาสในการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาแพทย์ปริญญาตรีและแพทย์เข้าร่วมโครงการ Clinical Observership Program

นอกจากนี้ คุณดวงกมลยังส่งมอบบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) ระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น และ Wakayama Medical University ที่ลงนามโดย รศ. ชาญชัย พานทองวิริยะกุล อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น แก่ Prof. Manabu Kawai เพื่อไปเสนอลงนามต่อ ซึ่งปีนี้ MOU ได้ยกระดับจากระดับคณะเป็นระดับมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อการกระชับความร่วมมือให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น

ความร่วมมือระหว่างสองมหาวิทยาลัยเริ่มตั้งแต่ปี 2547 และลงนาม MOU ครั้งแรกในปี 2549 ปัจจุบันมีนักศึกษาแพทย์จาก Wakayama Medical University มาแลกเปลี่ยนที่คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น จำนวน 26 คน และนักศึกษาแพทย์จากมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ไปแลกเปลี่ยนที่ Wakayama Medical University จำนวน 44 คน การหารือครั้งนี้ยังขยายความร่วมมือไปสู่การแลกเปลี่ยนแพทย์ เพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์และการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ระหว่างสองสถาบันให้แข็งแรงยิ่งขึ้น

MDKKU Welcomes British Consul to Discuss Support for British Nationals in Khon Kaen

 

On October 1, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, had the honor of welcoming Mrs. Joanne Finnamore-Crorkin, British Consul, and her delegation during their visit to the university. The purpose of the visit was to discuss potential collaboration regarding support and assistance for British nationals residing in Khon Kaen Province.

 

 

Representatives from the Faculty of Medicine who joined the discussion included:

  • Prof. Kutcharin Phunikhom, MD, Deputy Director of Srinagarind Hospital
  • Prof. Daris Theerakulpisut, MD, Assistant for International Relations and Corporate Communication

This meeting marks an important step in fostering collaboration between the Faculty of Medicine and the British Consulate, aiming to ensure the well-being and safety of British nationals in the region.

 

 

 

คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มข. ต้อนรับกงสุลอังกฤษ หารือความร่วมมือช่วยเหลือบุคคลสัญชาติอังกฤษในขอนแก่น

เมื่อวันที่ 1 ตุลาคม 2568 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ให้การต้อนรับ Mrs. Joanne Finnamore-Crorkin กงสุลอังกฤษและคณะ ในโอกาสเดินทางมาเยือนมหาวิทยาลัย โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือในการให้ความช่วยเหลือบุคคลสัญชาติอังกฤษที่พำนักหรือพำนักอาศัยอยู่ในจังหวัดขอนแก่น

ในการนี้ คณะแพทยศาสตร์มีผู้แทนเข้าร่วมหารือ ได้แก่

  • รศ. คัชรินทร์ ภูนิคม รองผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลศรีนครินทร์
  • รศ. ดริส ธีระกุลพิศุทธิ์ ผู้ช่วยฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์และสื่อสารองค์กร

การประชุมดังกล่าวนับเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างคณะแพทยศาสตร์กับสถานกงสุลอังกฤษ อันจะนำไปสู่การเสริมสร้างความมั่นใจและความปลอดภัยแก่บุคคลสัญชาติอังกฤษในพื้นที่ต่อไป

 

International Relations Office, Faculty of Medicine, Wins 3 Awards at “Driving Core Values: ACTS” Event

 

On September 25, 2025, the International Relations Office, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, received three awards at the “Driving Core Values: ACTS” event, organized by the Office of Administration, Faculty of Medicine, held at Mitraphap Conference Hall.

The event aimed to:

  1. Strengthen relationships among administrative staff
  2. Boost morale and serve as a role model in professional conduct
  3. Encourage staff to perform at their full potential
  4. Promote understanding and application of ACTS core values

The event also included a ceremony to recognize outstanding departments under the Office of Administration.

Awards received by the International Relations Office:

  1. Outstanding Service Award – awarded to Kanokporn Hinthao, International Relations Officer
  2. 7S Excellence Award – for outstanding implementation of the 7S workplace management system
  3. 1st Runner-Up in VDO Clip Competition on the theme “Driving Core Values: ACTS,” Category A: Agility, titled “Agility in International Relations: Connecting Medicine to the World”

The International Relations Office expresses thanks and recognition to everyone involved in achieving the success of this project.

 

 

 

งานวิเทศสัมพันธ์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ คว้า 3 รางวัลในงาน พลังขับเคลื่อนค่านิยมองค์กร : ACTS

เมื่อวันที่ 25 กันยายน 2568 งานวิเทศสัมพันธ์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เข้ารับ 3 รางวัลในงาน พลังขับเคลื่อนค่านิยมองค์กร: ACTS ซึ่งจัดโดย กองบริหารงานคณะแพทยศาสตร์ ณ ห้องประชุมมิตรภาพ

งานดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ

  1. สร้างเสริมความสัมพันธ์ของบุคลากรกองบริหารงานคณะแพทยศาสตร์
  2. สร้างขวัญกำลังใจและเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีในการปฏิบัติงาน
  3. ส่งเสริมแรงจูงใจให้บุคลากรปฏิบัติงานอย่างเต็มศักยภาพ
  4. ส่งเสริมให้บุคลากรเข้าใจและนำ ค่านิยมองค์กร ACTS ไปใช้

Medical Students from Austria Complete Clinical Elective Program at KKU

 

On September 26, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, presented certificates to medical students from the Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria, who successfully completed their Clinical Elective program during September 2025.

The participating students were:

  • Miss Anna Hechl, 6th-year medical student, who completed her elective in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Miss Laura Jasmin Schöttl, 4th-year medical student, who gained experience in both the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Emergency Medicine

During the closing session, both students presented their learning outcomes and were awarded Official Certificates of Completion by the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, in recognition of their achievement.

One of the Austrian medical students said:

“The Clinical Elective program at the Faculty of Medicine, KKU, has been an invaluable experience. It allowed us to learn new medical techniques and gain an in-depth understanding of hospital practices in Thailand, which will greatly contribute to our professional development in the future.”

The Faculty extends its congratulations and best wishes for their continued development in the field of medicine.

 

 

 

 

นักศึกษาแพทย์จากออสเตรีย สำเร็จโครงการแลกเปลี่ยน Clinical Elective ที่ มข.

วันที่ 26 กันยายน 2568 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น จัดพิธีมอบประกาศนียบัตรแก่ นักศึกษาแพทย์จาก Medical University of Innsbruck สาธารณรัฐออสเตรีย ที่สำเร็จการศึกษาโครงการแลกเปลี่ยน Clinical Elective ตลอดเดือนกันยายน 2568

นักศึกษาที่เข้าร่วมโครงการได้แก่

  • Miss Anna Hechl นักศึกษาแพทย์ชั้นปีที่ 6 แลกเปลี่ยนที่สาขาวิชาสูติศาสตร์และนรีเวชวิทยา
  • Miss Laura Jasmin Schöttl นักศึกษาแพทย์ชั้นปีที่ 4 แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ในสาขาวิชากุมารเวชศาสตร์ และสาขาวิชาเวชศาสตร์ฉุกเฉิน

ภายในวันดังกล่าว ทั้งสองนักศึกษาได้นำเสนอผลการเข้าร่วมโครงการแลกเปลี่ยน Clinical Elective และได้รับประกาศนียบัตรเพื่อแสดงถึงความสำเร็จ จากคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น

หนึ่งในนักศึกษาแพทย์ออสเตรียกล่าวว่า:

“การแลกเปลี่ยนที่คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มข. เป็นประสบการณ์ที่มีคุณค่าอย่างยิ่ง ทำให้เราได้เรียนรู้เทคนิคทางการแพทย์ใหม่ ๆ และเข้าใจการทำงานในโรงพยาบาลของประเทศไทยอย่างใกล้ชิด ซึ่งจะช่วยพัฒนาศักยภาพทางวิชาชีพของเราในอนาคต”

คณะฯ ขอแสดงความยินดีกับทั้งสองคนและขอเป็นกำลังใจให้ในการพัฒนาศักยภาพทางการแพทย์อย่างต่อเนื่อง

 

Lao Physician Completed One-Year Clinical Training in Oncologic Gynecology at KKU

 

On September 26, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, held a certificate presentation for Dr. Nathalika Phongsavath, a physician from the University of Health Sciences, Lao PDR, who successfully completed a one-year clinical training program in Oncologic Gynecology at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Nathalika undertook the training from October 7, 2024, to September 26, 2025, under the supervision and guidance of academic staff at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University.

At the closing session, Dr. Nathalika presented the outcomes of her clinical training and shared her academic experiences with faculty members before receiving a certificate of completion, marking a significant milestone in strengthening medical expertise and academic collaboration between Thailand and the Lao PDR.

 

 

 

 

แพทย์จาก สปป.ลาว สำเร็จการฝึกอบรมด้านมะเร็งนรีเวช ณ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น

เมื่อวันที่ 26 กันยายน 2568 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้จัดพิธีมอบเกียรติบัตรแก่ Dr. Nathalika Phongsavath แพทย์จากมหาวิทยาลัยวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ (University of Health Sciences) สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว ซึ่งสำเร็จการฝึกอบรมด้านมะเร็งนรีเวช ณ สาขาวิชาสูติศาสตร์และนรีเวชวิทยา

Dr. Nathalika ได้เข้าร่วมการฝึกอบรมระหว่างวันที่ 7 ตุลาคม 2567 ถึง 26 กันยายน 2568 รวมระยะเวลา 1 ปี โดยได้รับการถ่ายทอดความรู้และทักษะจากคณาจารย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญในสาขาวิชาสูติศาสตร์และนรีเวชวิทยา มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น

ภายในวันดังกล่าว Dr. Nathalika ได้นำเสนอผลการฝึกอบรม พร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ทางวิชาการกับคณาจารย์และบุคลากร ก่อนจะได้รับประกาศนียบัตรเป็นการยืนยันถึงความสำเร็จและเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในการพัฒนาศักยภาพทางการแพทย์ร่วมกันระหว่างไทยและ สปป. ลาว

 

Medical Professionals from Mahosot Hospital, Lao PDR Complete MRI Training at KKU

 

On September 26, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, hosted a closing ceremony and certificate presentation for three medical professionals from Mahosot Hospital, Lao PDR, who successfully completed a four-week training program in the Department of Radiology from September 1 – 26, 2025. The participants included:

  • Dr. Phonevilay Chanthalangsy, Radiologist
  • Miss Haikham Vongsegdeuan, Radiologic Technologist
  • Miss Souphansa Inthala, Radiologic Technologist

The training focused on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) diagnostics, offering participants comprehensive knowledge and practical exposure under the guidance of academic staff from the Department of Radiology.

At the closing session, the participants presented their learning outcomes and shared experiences with faculty members before receiving certificates of completion in recognition of their achievements.

This successful program highlights the academic collaboration between Thailand and the Lao PDR, aiming to strengthen medical expertise and enhance healthcare services across the region.

 

 

 

บุคลากรการแพทย์จากโรงพยาบาลมโหสถ สปป.ลาว สำเร็จการฝึกอบรม MRI ที่ มข. 

วันที่ 26 กันยายน 2568 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น จัดพิธีปิดการฝึกอบรมและมอบประกาศนียบัตรแก่บุคลากรทางการแพทย์จากโรงพยาบาลมโหสถ สปป.ลาว ได้แก่

  • Dr. Phonevilay Chanthalangsy รังสีแพทย์
  • Miss Haikham Vongsegdeuan นักรังสีเทคนิค
  • Miss Souphansa Inthala นักรังสีเทคนิค

ทั้งสามท่านได้เข้าร่วมการศึกษาดูงานในสาขาวิชารังสีวิทยา คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ระหว่างวันที่ 1–26 กันยายน 2568 (ระยะเวลา 4 สัปดาห์) โดยมุ่งเน้นด้านการตรวจวินิจฉัยด้วยคลื่นแม่เหล็กไฟฟ้า (Magnetic Resonance Imaging: MRI)

ภายในวันดังกล่าว ผู้เข้าร่วมได้นำเสนอผลการเรียนรู้และประสบการณ์ที่ได้รับ พร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ร่วมกับคณาจารย์และบุคลากรคณะแพทยศาสตร์ ก่อนที่คณะฯ จะมอบประกาศนียบัตรเพื่อแสดงความยินดีและเป็นเกียรติแก่ความสำเร็จในครั้งนี้

การเสร็จสิ้นโครงการครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างประเทศไทยและสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว ที่มุ่งพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรทางการแพทย์เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพการดูแลผู้ป่วยในภูมิภาคร่วมกัน

 

International Relations Office Organizes “Let’s go elective, Let’s go global” to Inspire Global Opportunities

 

On September 24, 2025, the International Relations Office, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, organized the event “Let’s Go Elective, Let’s Go Global” at Hybrid Learning Center. The event was honored by Asst. Prof. Supawan Laohasiriwong, MD, Assistant for International Relations and Corporate Communication, who presided over the opening ceremony and delivered welcoming remarks.

 

 

The event introduced scholarship programs supported by the International Relations Office, including:

  • Global Student Platform Program, which supports undergraduate students to attend international conferences, present research, or participate in academic competitions abroad.

Let’s Go Elective, which provides opportunities for undergraduate students to join clinical elective programs at medical schools across Asia, Europe, Australia, and the Americas.

 

 

The highlight of the event featured student sharing sessions, where scholarship recipients shared their experiences:

  • A recipient of the Global Student Platform Program said, “Having the chance to present my research abroad gave me fresh perspectives and motivation to grow academically, while also allowing me to build a professional network with peers from around the world.”
  • A recipient of the Let’s Go Elective said, “My elective abroad allowed me to experience diverse healthcare systems, improve my language and communication skills, and gain valuable insights that will benefit my future career.”

 

 

The event successfully inspired students to embrace global learning opportunities, highlighting the importance of international exposure in shaping both academic and professional growth in the medical field.

 

 

งานวิเทศสัมพันธ์จัดกิจกรรม “Let’s Go Elective, Let’s Go Global” จุดประกายโอกาสสู่เวทีโลก

เมื่อวันที่ 24 กันยายน 2568 งานวิเทศสัมพันธ์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้จัดกิจกรรม “Let’s Go Elective, Let’s Go Global” ณ ห้อง Hybrid Learning Center โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ผศ.สุภวรรณ เลาหศิริวงศ์ ผู้ช่วยฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์และสื่อสารองค์กร เป็นประธานเปิดงานและกล่าวต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วม

ภายในงานมีการแนะนำทุนการศึกษาที่สนับสนุนโดยงานวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ได้แก่

  • ทุน Global Student Platform Program สนับสนุนนักศึกษาคณะแพทยศาสตร์ ระดับปริญญาตรี ในการเข้าร่วมประชุมวิชาการ นำเสนอผลงานวิจัย หรือแข่งขันทางวิชาการในต่างประเทศ
  • ทุน Let’s Go Elective สำหรับนักศึกษาคณะแพทยศาสตร์ ระดับปริญญาตรีที่ต้องการไปแลกเปลี่ยนทางคลินิกระยะสั้น (elective) ณ โรงเรียนแพทย์ในหลายภูมิภาค อาทิ เอเชีย ยุโรป ออสเตรเลีย และอเมริกา

นอกจากนี้ยังมีการแบ่งปันประสบการณ์ตรงจากนักศึกษาที่เคยได้รับทุนทั้งสองประเภท โดย

  • นักศึกษาที่ได้รับ ทุน Global Student Platform Program กล่าวว่า “การได้รับโอกาสไปนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยในต่างประเทศ ทำให้ได้รับมุมมองใหม่ ๆ และแรงบันดาลใจในการพัฒนาตนเอง รวมถึงได้สร้างเครือข่ายกับเพื่อนร่วมวิชาชีพจากทั่วโลก”
  • นักศึกษาที่ได้รับ ทุน Let’s go elective กล่าวว่า “การไปแลกเปลี่ยนที่ต่างประเทศทำให้ได้เรียนรู้ระบบการแพทย์ที่หลากหลาย รวมทั้งฝึกภาษาและพัฒนาทักษะการสื่อสาร ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการทำงานในอนาคต”

กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ช่วยสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้นักศึกษาได้ตระหนักถึงคุณค่าของการเปิดโลกทัศน์และเรียนรู้จากเวทีนานาชาติ อันจะนำไปสู่การพัฒนาทั้งด้านวิชาการและวิชาชีพทางการแพทย์ในอนาคต
