Professor Christopher Mow Visit for Educational Purpose

From June 28 to July 9, 2019, we invited Professor Christopher Mow from Stanford University to join our adult reconstructive orthopaedic surgery conference. While he was here, he gave lectures about Common Complications of Total Hip Replacement (THR) and Total Knee Replacement (TKR) (Including Examination Preparation); Bearing Surfaces in THR: Basic Science and Clinical Application; Femoral Revision in THR: What is the Current Status; and Medial Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty (UKA): Indication, Technique, and Result. He also engaged in many other discussions with our Faculty of Medicine in a wide ranging area of topics, including future collaborations such as growing Faculty and Student Exchange programs and conducting clinical trials at KKU for new technologies. Although he stayed only a few weeks, he contributed so much to the Faculty and the staff in fostering collaboration and cooperation. On behalf of the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, we thank Professor Mow for his contribution and hope to have another chance to welcome him back to KKU.
